How can I register and pay for classes?
You can register and pay online. If you would like to pay in cash, you must schedule a time to come into the facility.
Do you have a payment plan?
A down payment is needed to secure a seat. The remaining balance is due 1 day prior to your start date. Multiple payment options are available upon request.
How long are classes?
Day classes are 12 days (including clinicals). Evening classes are 14 days (including clinicals).
Do I need a uniform?
Navy blue scrubs are needed for class and clinicals.
Is the textbook included?
Textbooks are available to purchase $35 (recommended) or $15 to lease during class session.
Is a background check needed for class?
Yes. Contact your local police department and the Justice Center for hours and pricing.
What do I receive upon completion of the STNA course?
You will receive a certificate of completion for the STNA training program. You will then be eligible to sit for you State exam.
What days and times are classes?
The day classes are Monday thru Friday from 9 am to 3:30 pm. Classes will take approximately 12 days to complete.
The evening classes are Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday 5 pm to 10:15 pm. Classes will take approximately 14 days to complete.
What happens if I miss a day?
The STNA program requires full attendance at all classes and clinical experience sessions. It is a 75-hour program. Absolutely No exceptions will be accepted during the 1st week of classes. One subsequent absence can be made up but please do your extreme best not to miss any class. All make-up hours must be completed and documented within 30 days of the missed class. The make-up day will be assessed a fee of $100.00 per day to Community Connections Academy and must be paid prior to the make-up day.
Do you offer CPR certification?
Yes. We offer Basic Life Support Provider through the American Heart Association at a discounted rate of $35.00 for our students
Is a high school diploma or GED needed to enroll in the program?
No but employers may require a high school diploma or equivalency (GED) to obtain employment.
Is the State exam fee included in tuition?
No, the state exam cost is a separate fee.
